24TH ANNUAL SHOW-ME 100 NIGHTLY RESULTS...
May 27, 2016 ---
Another $6,000 top prize was on the line tonight at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri in a special Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson event, which was once again co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil MLRA Series. Billy Moyer knocked down the third quickest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to scoring the victory in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the 40-lapper, Billy slipped back to eleventh at the checkers tonight at the 3/8-mile speedplant.

May 26, 2016 --- The 24th edition of the 'Lucas Oil Show-Me 100' kicked off tonight at the immaculate Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil MLRA Series co-sanctioned the 'Cowboy Classic' prelim tonight, which drew 57 competitors to vie for the $6,000 winner's check. Billy Moyer qualified fourteenth fastest in Group B during time trials and later placed fourth in heat race action. After scoring the victory in his B-Main, Billy was the first retiree in the 45-lap 'Cowboy Classic' and settled for a twenty-fourth place effort.

 

MOYER TACKLES LUCAS FOES AT OSHKOSH & LASALLE
May 22, 2016 ---
Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) headed to Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois on May 20-21 for a pair of lucrative races with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. On Friday night in the Badger State, Billy Moyer ran second in his heat race prior to slipping back to ninth in the $10,000 to win headliner after starting the 50-lapper from the inside of the fourth row. In the annual 'Spring Shootout' on Saturday evening at LaSalle, which carried a $12,000 winner's check, Billy finished fourth in heat race action and later climbed up to place eleventh at the conclusion of the 60-lap main event. BILLY MOYER FOURTH IN CHUCK HAMILTON MEM.

Over a rainy weekend, Billy Moyer and his famed #21 BMR team wound up at Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday evening, May 14 for the annual running of the 'Chuck Hamilton Memorial,' which was sanctioned by the American Late Model Series (ALMS). Billy knocked down the third fastest lap in his group during the time trial session prior to running second in heat race action. After starting the $5,000 to win main event from the outside of the second row, Billy wound up finishing the 50-lapper right where he started... in the fourth position behind only race winner Ryan Unzicker, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Billy Drake. MOYER NABS $5,000 PAYDAY IN DOUGLAS DODGE 40!
May 8, 2016 ---
Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer Billy Moyer scored his second victory of the 2016 racing season on Friday night, May 6 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois! Billy clicked off the third quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session prior to bagging a heat race triumph. Billy then started from the pole in the 'Douglas Dodge 40' and led the final half of the 40-lap race to record the $5,000 windfall over Brandon Sheppard, Kevin Weaver, Dennis Erb, Jr., and Devin Gilpin!

A short trip to Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois then greeted the #21 team on Saturday evening, as another MARS DIRTcar Series and American Late Model Series (ALMS) co-sanctioned event took center stage. Billy knocked down the second fastest time overall during qualifying and later won his heat race in preliminary action. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the $10,000 to win 'FALS Frenzy,' the popular driver known as "Mr. Smooth" bolted up to second during the 50-lapper before eventually settling for a solid fifth place performance behind only winner Bobby Pierce, Earl Pearson, Jr., Dennis Erb, Jr., and Brandon Sheppard. BMR MAKES SHORT TRIP FOR $20K BAD BOY 98
April 17, 2016 ---
Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team made the short trek to the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas on April 15-16 for the annual running of the 'Bad Boy 98.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the two-day program and Billy was gunning for the hefty $20,000 top prize. The Batesville Hall of Famer timed in sixth quickest in Group A during Friday's qualifying session and later grabbed the third transfer spot through his stacked heat race. After starting the 98-lap main event on Saturday evening from the inside of the sixth row, Billy was unfortunately an early retiree in the 'Bad Boy 98' and was placed twenty-first in the final finishing order. MOYER GETS FIRST WIN OF 2016 IN SPRING NATIONALS!
April 10, 2016 ---
Billy Moyer, of Batesville, Arkansas, picked up his first feature win of the young 2016 campaign on Friday evening, April 8 in the annual 'MLRA Spring Nationals' opener at the immaculate Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri! Billy won his heat race in preliminary action and later led all thirty circuits in the Lucas Oil MLRA Series headliner from the pole position. He recorded the $2,000 payday over Jimmy Mars, Payton Looney, Bobby Pierce, and Jason Papich!

On Saturday night, April 9, the conclusion of the 'MLRA Spring Nationals' was held at Wheatland and a $5,000 winner's check was on the line. Billy ran second in heat race action and later lined up starting the 45-lap main event from the outside of the second row. During the course of the caution-free contest, the popular driver known as "Mr. Smooth" ran towards the front before slipping back to seventh at the finish. BILLY MOYER RETURNS TO ACTION IN ILLINI 100
April 4, 2016 ---
Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) ventured to Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on April 2-3 to compete in the annual running of the 'Illini 100,' which was sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. The two-day spectacular started on Saturday night with a $6,000 to win shootout at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. Making his return from knee replacement surgery, Billy Moyer ran fifth in his heat race prior to grabbing the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main. After starting the 25-lap sprint from the inside of the eleventh row, Billy was able to move up a couple of positions to earn a nineteenth place effort.

At Farmer City on Sunday, a whopping $15,000 top prize was on the line in the 'Illini 100' finale. Billy clicked off the second fastest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to finishing third in his loaded heat race. "Mr. Smooth" then rolled off from the outside of the sixth row in the 75-lap contest before picking off five competitors en route to a solid seventh place showing. WILD WEST SHOOTOUT RESULTS FROM USA RACEWAY
January 17, 2016 ---
Things wrapped up in the desert tonight with the 'Wild West Shootout' finale at USA (AZ) Raceway. The six-race miniseries in Tucson concluded with a 50-lap throwdown, which boasted a record-high $11,000 payday to the winner. Billy Moyer moved up to third in heat race action and later rolled off from the outside of the seventh row in the A-Main. January 16, 2016 --- The penultimate event of the 2016 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries was held tonight in front of a huge grandstand crowd at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Billy Moyer blasted past five cars in his heat race to finish fourth, which lined him up starting the $5,000 to win feature from the outside of the sixth row. At the checkers in the 30-lap main event, Billy found himself credited with a thirteenth place performance.

January 15, 2016 --- Race four of the 10th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' took center stage tonight at USA (AZ) Raceway and yet another $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs for the #21 BMR team. Billy Moyer unfortunately narrowly missed out on transferring into the 30-lapper after finishing sixth in his stacked heat race and fourth in his B-Main.

January 13, 2016 --- Following a couple of days off, the desert heated back up tonight with the third leg of the 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Billy Moyer moved up to third in his loaded heat race and later started the $5,000 to win headliner from the outside of the fifth row. During the course of the 30-lap affair, Billy picked off four cars on his way to a solid sixth place effort behind only winner Jonathan Davenport, Darrell Lanigan, Shane Clanton, Donny Schatz, and Billy Moyer, Jr.

January 10, 2016 --- Round two of the 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries took to the track today at USA (AZ) Raceway and another $5,000 top prize was on the line in the unsanctioned Super Late Model spectacular. Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer Billy Moyer ran fourth in his stacked heat race prior to picking up the victory in his consolation event. After starting the 30-lapper from the inside of the ninth row, Billy was able to move up to thirteenth by the checkers of the caution-free feature.
