The first week of the grueling "Hell Tour" wrapped up tonight with a visit to Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Indiana. Billy Moyer, of Batesville, Arkansas, laid down the second fastest lap in his group during qualifying prior to running second in heat race action. "Mr. Smooth" then started sixth on the grid in the 40-lap headliner and drove past leader Timothy Culp to grab the point on the 30th circuit. June 16, 2018 --- Next up on the UMP Summer Nationals grind was a visit to the pristine Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois where another $10,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Billy Moyer timed in fourth fastest in his group during qualifying before grabbing the fourth transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 30-lap main event from the inside of the sixth row, Billy steered past a handful of competitors to a solid sixth place effort behind only victor Shannon Babb, Brandon Thirlby, Mike Mataragas, Tony Jackson, Jr., and Tim Manville.

June 15, 2018 --- The third leg of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals was held earlier this evening at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois and a $10,000 payday was on the line. In the richest Super Late Model event ever at the 55-year old facility, Billy Moyer clicked off the fourth quickest time in Group A during qualifying, won his heat race, and later led all but one circuit in the first 49 laps of the main event. In the final six laps, Billy and eventual winner Shannon Babb traded the point on five different occasions before "Mr. Smooth" settled for an impressive runner-up performance in the action-packed thriller.

June 14, 2018 --- Night two of the "Hell Tour" featured a complete $5,000 to win program at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois. Billy Moyer, who has dominated Kankakee in the past, posted the third quickest time in his group during the qualifying session prior to finishing second in heat race action. After starting fourth on the grid in the 40-lap headliner, Billy took the lead from Shannon Babb on two different occasions to lead laps 13 and 21, but was ultimately forced to settle for a strong runner-up showing at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds oval.

June 13, 2018 --- The 2018 edition of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour kicked off tonight at Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois and the #21 team was in attendance to do battle for the $5,000 paycheck. Billy Moyer knocked down the seventh fastest lap in Group A during time trials before grabbing the third transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 40-lapper from the inside of the fifth row, Billy was able to advance up to sixth on the one-groove racing surface to trail only winner Billy Drake, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Brandon Thirlby.

MOYER EARNS TOP TEN IN DREAM PRELIM AT ELDORA
June 10, 2018 ---
One of the sport's richest events was held from June 7-9 at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, as 78 competitors converged at the 1/2-mile speedplant to do battle in 'Dream XXIV.' Following a washout on Thursday night, both preliminary shows were held on Friday. In the $5,000 to win prelim during the afternoon, Billy Moyer won his heat race in preliminary action prior to slipping back to tenth in the 25-lap sprint. Later that evening in the $10,000 to win prelim, Billy placed fourth in his heat race and sixteenth in the 25-lapper. On Saturday in the grand finale, which once again boasted a $100,000 payday, Billy was unfortunately not able to transfer into the 100-lap crown jewel race after finishing seventh in his stacked heat race and suffering a flat tire in his B-Main. BILLY MOYER NABS TOP FIVES IN CCSDS ACTION!

Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) invaded Crowley's Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Arkansas and I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 1-2 for a pair of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) tilts. On Friday night at Crowley's Ridge, Billy Moyer won his heat race in preliminary action prior to placing third in the $2,000 to win main event behind only victor Jack Sullivan and runner-up Kyle Beard. At I-30 on Saturday evening, a $5,000 top prize was on the line in the annual running of the 'Rockabilly 45.' MOYER COMPETES IN SHOW-ME 100 WEEKEND...

The #21 team was in the pit area at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri from May 24-26 for the 26th edition of the Lucas Oil 'Show-Me 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The three-day extravaganza in the Show-Me State started with a pair of $6,000 to win preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Billy Moyer narrowly missed out on the 45-lap weekend opener after finishing fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main. At Wheatland on Friday evening, Billy ran second in his heat race and fifteenth in the 40-lapper.

By virtue of racking up the eighteenth best point total in preliminary action, Billy rolled off from the outside of the ninth row in Saturday's 100-lap headliner. While he had his sights set on another 'Show-Me 100' title and the $30,000 payday, the Batesville, Arkansas superstar unfortunately retired at the halfway mark and settled for a twenty-fourth place performance. MOYER WINS AT I-55; CLOSE SECOND AT FARMER CITY!

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Billy Moyer claimed his second feature win of the 2018 racing season on Saturday evening, May 12 in an impromptu trip to Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri! After the $10,000 to win 'FALS Frenzy' special was rained-out early in the afternoon at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois, Billy wound up at Pevely to enter the Super Late Model weekly event. Billy started third and finished third in his heat race, but later stormed to the front in the feature from his sixth starting position. A night earlier on Friday, May 11, a $10,000 top prize was on the line in the 'Farmer City 74' at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. Billy scored the victory in his loaded heat race to earn the pole position in the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned main event. During the course of the 74-lap contest, the popular driver known as "Mr. Smooth" led the first 73 circuits before his familiar #21 machine was passed coming off of turn four by eventual winner Shannon Babb. The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team headed to Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana on Saturday night, May 5 for the annual running of the 'Pelican 50.' The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presided over the single-day throwdown in the Pelican State and a $4,000 winner's check was on the line. Billy Moyer fought ignition problems all evening long and finished third in his heat race to earn the inside of the fourth row for the start of the 50-lap headliner. Billy Moyer and his Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2018 on Friday night, April 27 at the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas! Billy knocked down the fastest lap overall in COMP Cams Super Dirt Series qualifying and later won his heat race in preliminary action. The popular driver known as "Mr. Smooth" then led all but one circuit in the 30-lap headliner to secure the $2,000 triumph over Jack Sullivan, Robert Baker, Gavin Landers, and Jared Landers! The dirt-slinging action quickly switched to Legit Speedway Park in West Plains, Missouri on Saturday evening, April 28, as the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Series co-sanctioned a $3,000 to win showdown. Billy ran fifth in his loaded heat race at the former West Plains Motor Speedway before claiming the second transfer spot through his B-Main. In the 40-lapper, Billy started the race from the outside of the ninth row, but unfortunately drew a lap 27 caution flag for mechanical issues and eventually wound up twenty-fourth in the final finishing order. MOYER RUNNER-UP IN QUEEN CITY SHOOTOUT OPENER

Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) invaded Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi over the April 20-21 weekend for a pair of World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series battles, each of which paid $10,000 to the winner. On Friday night in the 'Queen City Shootout' opener, Billy Moyer clicked off the quickest lap overall during qualifying to earn Fast Time honors before scoring the victory in his loaded heat race. After drawing the third starting spot, Billy moved up to finish second in the 50-lapper behind only victor Brandon Sheppard. Another last minute decision - due to weather - took the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team to Moulton Speedway in Moulton, Alabama on Friday night, April 13 for the running of the 'Bama 50.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special drew 37 entrants to vie for the $5,000 winner's check. Billy Moyer posted the quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session and later started the 50-lap contest from the outside of the front row. With passing at a premium throughout the 'Bama 50,' Billy eventually slid back to third at the waving of the checkered flag behind only victor Michael Page and runner-up Cade Dillard. MOYER FOURTH IN LAST MINUTE TRIP TO THE MAG!

Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team made a last minute decision to invade Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday evening, March 31 for a Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) showdown. Billy knocked down the second fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session before running third in the dash. The popular driver known as "Mr. Smooth" then had a strong run in the 40-lap main event and eventually finished fourth at the unfurling of the checkered flag behind only $2,500 winner Chad Thrash, Spencer Hughes, and Rick Rickman.
