(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team concluded their version of the 2007 racing season over the weekend at the Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi. The annual 'Jambalaya 100' was on tap at Pike County and a $30,000 top prize was up for grabs in the A-Main on Saturday night, November 10. Billy Moyer won his competitive heat race on Friday evening, which earned him a spot up front in the 100-lap feature event on Saturday.

The Batesville, Arkansas native led early and ran second throughout most of the race. However, as the 'Jambalaya 100' wore on, tire wear affected the handling on Billy's #21 Victory Circle by Moyer M1 Chassis and he wound up third in the final rundown behind winner Jimmy Mars and runner-up James Ward. "I think we made some gains with this Victory Circle car at Pike County," commented Moyer. "On tracks that size, we still had some learning to do with the car and I think we made it better for the Jambalaya 100. Our right rear tire just wore out late in the race and we gave up the second spot to (James) Ward. It was still a pretty good run to conclude our season and I look forward to the start of next year at Brunswick."

Billy and his #21 team had a very strong 2007 season, as they entered ninety-two Dirt Late Model events in twenty-two different states. The driver known as "Mr. Smooth" recorded nine victories, thirteen second place finishes, and thirteen third place efforts in those races.
