| October 10, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer and his #21 team traveled to the Checkered Flag Speedway in Hohenwald, Tennessee on Saturday, October 6 for a $5,000 to win Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) event. Billy timed in faster than any other competitor in his group during qualifying and later rolled off from the inside of the second row for the A-Main. After fifty green flag racing laps around the Volunteer State venue, "Mr. Smooth" had moved up one spot to finish second behind winner Byron Michael. The Billy Moyer Racing team will trek to North Carolina and Georgia this week to compete with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series (OSAS). The exciting wheel-to-wheel Dirt Late Model action will kick off tonight, October 10 at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The annual 'Jani-King Southern Showdown' will be held tonight at the state-of-the-art facility and a 50-lap WOOLMS feature event will highlight the evening. A $10,000 top prize is on the line at the Charlotte-area oval, but if the winner submitted an official entry form by September 15 and is one of the 18 heat race qualifiers, the victor will receive the $10,000 payday along with an amount equal to $1,000 multiplied by his starting spot. Therefore, there is the potential for a driver to bring home $28,000 tonight from the Lowe's Motor Speedway. Billy is the defending race champion and will be looking to go back-to-back tonight! Following a day off on Thursday, the #21 team will invade the newly reconfigured Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia on Friday and Saturday, October 12-13. The O'Reilly Southern Allstars East Series will sanction a pair of $2,000 to win 'Twin 20s' on Friday night, October 12. The O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series will then roll into GIS on Saturday and a $10,000 top prize is up for grabs.
