| September 13, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) "Mr. Smooth" Billy Moyer invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the weekend for the 37th Annual 'World 100.' On Friday night, September 7, Billy timed in thirty-seventh quickest of the 203 cars in attendance to earn a coveted starting spot in one of the six heat races. After Mother Nature postponed the racing action on Saturday, the "Big E" came back to life on Sunday afternoon, September 9. Unfortunately for the Batesville, Arkansas native, a sixth place run in his heat race and a seventh place effort in his B-Main were not quite good enough to transfer the five-time race winner into the $40,000 to win 'World 100.' You can view complete results from the prestigious race, which was won by Jimmy Owens, online at www.eldoraspeedway.com. "After running so well at Eldora the week prior, I was really excited about the World 100," quoted Moyer today via telephone. "We missed the invert by one spot and that is a huge difference from starting on the pole of a heat race to starting seventh. The car wasn't bad, but it was just a little off from where we needed to be in the slick. We have done some testing this week though and I think we have figured out some things that would have helped us last weekend and should help us in the future." The Billy Moyer Racing team is set to travel to Iowa and Illinois this coming weekend for a pair of tradition-laden events. On Friday-Saturday, September 14-15, the Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa will play host to the $10,000 to win 'Yankee Dirt Track Classic.' Following the event at Farley, the action will turn to the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois on Sunday evening, September 16. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will preside over the $7,000 to win 'Illinois Fall Nationals' at the 1/4-mile Illinois oval on Sunday.
