(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer and his #21 team entered a trio of Dirt Late Model events in Illinois and Ohio over the busy Labor Day holiday weekend and recorded three separate third place finishes. On Friday evening, August 31, Billy opened up the weekend at the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois for the $5,000 to win 'Farmer City 50.' After winning his heat race, Billy posted a third place effort in the 40-lap A-Main, as he finished behind winner Dennis Erb and runner-up Wes Steidinger.

The action then turned to the Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday, September 1 for the $10,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' Billy set fast time for the prestigious UMP event, as he toured the FALS oval in 12.75 seconds. Following a second place performance in his competitive heat race, "Mr. Smooth" drove his famed #21 machine to a third place finish in the 50-lap affair behind both Brian Birkhofer and Jimmy Mars.

The tripleheader weekend concluded on Sunday night, September 2 at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Billy finished fourth in his heat race, but advanced to the $2,000 to win American Late Model Series (ALMS) feature event by virtue of his consolation race win. After starting nineteenth on the grid for the A-Main, Billy was able to pass sixteen cars en route to an impressive third place performance. The Batesville, Arkansas native finished behind Jeep Van Wormer and Dan Schlieper in the final tune-up for the upcoming 'World 100.'

The Billy Moyer Racing team is now set to make the journey back to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio for the 37th Annual 'World 100.' The prestigious event will take place this weekend at the "Big E" and a $40,000 top prize is up for grabs. Qualifying and non-qualifiers races are scheduled for Friday, September 7 at the 1/2-mile, high-banked dirt oval, while the heat races, consolation events, and 100-lap 'World 100' are all slated for Saturday evening.

Billy, who has taken home the famed globe trophies back in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1998, and 2000, will be looking for his sixth title in the 37th annual edition of the event this weekend. He has made the 'World 100' starting field eighteen times in his illustrious career. Billy has five victories, eight Top Fives, and eleven Top Tens to his credit.
