| August 20, 2009 Billy Moyer Gears Up for Tripleheader Weekend Following Disappointing Topless 100 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team invaded the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas last weekend (August 14-15) for the 17th Annual 'Topless 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the crown jewel event for the second straight year and a whopping $40,000 top prize was up for grabs. In addition, the cameras of the SPEED Channel were on hand throughout the weekend to tape all of the wheel-to-wheel action for broadcast later in the year. Billy Moyer was gunning for another 'Topless 100' title to add to his impressive resume, but his weekend ended in disappointment on Friday night. After timing in second fastest in Group A during the qualifying session, Billy was leading his competitive heat race until another competitor dropped some fluid down on the racing surface. The Batesville, Arkansas native hit the fluid, which sent him hard into the outside retaining wall between turns one and two. The bout with the wall ended Billy's weekend prematurely, as he did not return for Saturday's portion of the 'Topless 100' program. You can view complete results online at www.dirtondirt.com.
