| August 17, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team invaded the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky over the weekend for the 25th Annual 'North/South 100.' With 86 of the best Dirt Late Model drivers in the country present for time trials on Friday night, August 10, Billy Moyer qualified his familiar #21 MasterSbilt machine in fourth quickest. The Batesville, Arkansas native then finished second in his competitive heat race on Saturday to earn the rights to the tenth starting spot for the $50,000 to win A-Main. "Mr. Smooth" ran a solid race and stayed inside of the top ten throughout the 100-lap event prior to notching a ninth place performance. "Last weekend went better than some of our previous trips to Florence, that is for sure," commented Moyer this week. "Our car was great during qualifying and the heat race, but we dropped off a little bit for the feature. I don't really know why because we didn't change a thing on the car." Billy and the BMR team will travel to the nearby Batesville Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas this weekend for the 15th Annual 'Comp Cams Topless 100.' Qualifying and heat race action will take place at the 3/8-mile oval tonight, August 17, while consolation events and the 100-lap, $46,000 to win feature event is slated for Saturday evening, August 18. Billy is four-time winner of the prestigious event at the Batesville area venue, as he brought home the first place prize back in 1995, 1997, 2002, and 2005.
