| August 4, 2009 Billy Moyer Set to Invade West Liberty and Florence Following USA Nationals Weekend (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team traveled north to the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin last weekend (July 30-August 1) for the 'USA Nationals.' On Thursday night, the World Dirt Racing League (WDRL) Series played host to a $5,000 to win show at CLS. Billy Moyer timed in twenty-third quickest during qualifying and later won his heat race. After starting ninth on the grid in the 50-lap main event, Billy wound up finishing in the thirteenth position. The annual 'USA Nationals' was then held on Friday and Saturday at Cedar Lake and a $50,000 top prize was up for grabs. Billy qualified twenty-second fastest in time trials on Friday and later ran fourth in heat race action. Unfortunately, Billy could not advance into the 100-lap main event on Saturday after finishing fifth in his B-Main and sixth in the Last Chance Qualifier. The West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa will play host to a $10,000 to win unsanctioned event tonight, August 4. The Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky will then take center stage on Friday and Saturday, August 7-8. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the annual running of the 'North/South 100' at Florence, which boasts a $50,000 payday. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will tape all of the wheel-to-wheel action at the Cincinnati area venue for broadcast later in the year.
