| July 26, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team trekked north over the weekend for a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events in Illinois and Missouri. On Friday night, July 20, Billy Moyer picked up his ninth feature win of 2007 in front of the SPEED Channel cameras at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois. Billy won his competitive heat race and took the lead from Don O'Neal on lap fifteen of the A-Main. The Batesville, Arkansas native then led the final thirty-five circuits en route to the $10,000 victory. Billy was able to beat O'Neal, Shannon Babb, Terry English, and Earl Pearson, Jr. to the checkered flag at the reconfigured oval last Friday evening! The action then turned to the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Saturday, July 21 for another $10,000 to win show. Billy once again won his heat race and started from the second row in the 50-lap feature event. In front of a packed house at the Show-Me State oval, "Mr. Smooth" drove his familiar #21 MasterSbilt / Pro Power machine to a solid fifth place performance in the A-Main, as he wound up finishing behind winner Earl Pearson, Jr., Brian Birkhofer, Donnie Moran, and Billy Drake. You can view complete results from the weekend online at www.lucasdirt.com! "This MasterSbilt car has been pretty good for us lately," quoted Moyer in a telephone conversation recently. "We keep learning stuff about it each night, but I think the four-bar car is better at some of these tracks these days. It was good to get another Lucas Oil Series win at Granite City, especially in front of the television cameras. We haven't won one of those T.V. races in awhile, so I was definitely real excited to get into victory lane on Friday night." Billy and his #21 team will travel to Indiana and Ohio this coming weekend for a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series shows. The Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana will play host to a $7,000 to win event tonight, July 26. The action will then turn to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Friday evening, July 27 for the $10,000 to win 'Subway 50.' The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at the "Big E" to tape all of the exciting action from the 50-lap affair. Saturday is currently up-in-the-air for the #21 team, as they have not decided where and even if they will race.
