| July 10, 2009 Billy Moyer Readies for Pair of Lucas Oil Races Following Runner-Up at Quincy (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team was back on the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals trail over the 4th of July holiday weekend, as a pair of $10,000 to win events were scheduled in Illinois and Missouri. On Friday night, July 3, the Quincy Raceway in Quincy, Illinois took center stage. Billy Moyer qualified sixth fastest in his group during qualifying, but later passed four cars during his heat race to earn the second transfer spot. After starting seventh in the 40-lap main event, Billy once again was on the move, as he worked his way past five racecars en route to a strong runner-up performance behind winner Shannon Babb. Next up for the #21 team was another $10,000 to win show on Saturday evening, July 4 at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. The BMR team will now turn their focus to a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races this upcoming weekend. The North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama will play host to a $7,000 to win show tonight, July 10, while the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi will hold a $10,000 to win event on Saturday, July 11. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at Magnolia on Saturday to tape all of the wheel-to-wheel action for broadcast later in the year.
