| June 25, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team racked up one Top Five finish and three Top Ten efforts in the trio of UMP Summernationals events they entered last week in Missouri and Illinois. The busy week kicked off on Tuesday, June 19 at the I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri. After winning his heat race, Billy Moyer took the lead early in the $6,000 to win A-Main and led until lap twenty when he suffered an untimely flat Hoosier tire. The Batesville, Arkansas native pitted for fresh rubber and returned to the race to ultimately finish in the eighth position. The action then turned to the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday night, June 23 for a $10,000 to win show. Billy set a new track record in qualifying at the St. Louis area venue, as he toured the facility in 12.081 seconds. After winning his heat race, Billy dominated the 40-lap feature event until he was passed on the final circuit by Mike Marlar. Following the second place run at I-55, Billy's weekend concluded on Sunday evening at the Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois. "Mr. Smooth" timed in fastest in his group, finished second in his heat race, and ran sixth in the $6,000 to win A-Main last night at Lincoln. Billy and his #21 team are scheduled to stay on the grueling UMP Summernationals trail through at least the middle of this week. They will be in action at the Peoria (IL) Speedway tonight, June 25, before invading the Poplar Bluff (MO) Speedway on Tuesday, June 26 and the Lake Ozark (MO) Speedway on Wednesday, June 27. Following the event on Wednesday, the team will make the decision to keep running some selective UMP Summernationals races or travel to the Lernerville (PA) Speedway for the $30,000 to win 'Firecracker 100' this weekend.
