| June 19, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team invaded Minnesota, Iowa, and Kansas over the weekend to compete in four World of Outlaws Late Model Series events! The National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer had a very consistent extended weekend, as he scored a pair of third and fourth place finishes in the four $10,000 to win shows across the Upper Midwest. His extended weekend kicked off with a third place run on Thursday night, June 14 in the annual 'Gopher 50' at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. On Friday, another third place effort would greet the BMR team at the historic Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. Billy got one spot better on Saturday, June 16, as he wheeled his #21 MasterSbilt machine to a third place performance, after starting fourteenth, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The ultra-busy weekend concluded at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas on Sunday night and "Mr. Smooth" recorded a New Track Record in qualifying and another third place finish in the 40-lap A-Main. "We had the third and the fourth spot covered over the weekend," quoted Moyer in a recent telephone conversation. "Our cars were very consistent all four nights, but we just didn't have quite enough to get a win. We will spend some time at the shop this week and regroup a little before heading back out on the road. Hopefully, we can find that little something we were missing to get us back into victory lane." Before heading back to the shop, the Billy Moyer Racing team is slated to be in action tonight, June 19 at the I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri. The UMP Summernationals Series rolls into the Show-Me State and a $6,000 top prize is up for grabs this evening. Following a few much needed days off, Billy will be back in action on Saturday, June 23 at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri for a $10,000 to win UMP Summernationals show.
