(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer invaded Kentucky and Missouri over the weekend to compete in two UMP 'Tri-Track Challenge' events. On Friday, June 1, Billy qualified well and ran second in his heat race to Rodney Melvin at the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky. After starting seventh in the $6,000 to win A-Main, Billy was running strong before suffering a mechanical problem on his famed #21 machine. The unfortunate break cost Billy a shot at a solid finish and relegated him to an eighteenth place performance.

The action then turned to the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday evening for another $6,000 to win 'Tri-Track Challenge' race. Billy set a new track record at the St. Louis area venue by touring the oval in 12.203 seconds in qualifying. He then won his heat race prior to running third in the feature event. Billy earned the podium finish by crossing the finish line third behind winner Brian Shirley and runner-up Bryan Collins.

Billy and his #21 team will travel to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio this weekend for the 13th Annual 'Dream 100.' Qualifying will take place at the "Big E" on Friday night, June 8, while heat races, consolation events, and the $100,000 to win feature event are slated for Saturday evening. Billy has made the 'Dream 100' starting field on eight different occasions, with his victory in 1998 highlighting his career stats in the mega-event. Prior to the 'Dream 100;' however, the Billy Moyer Racing team will also field a car for the 'Nextel Prelude to the Dream,' which will be held tonight, June 6 at the Eldora (OH) Speedway. NASCAR star Mark Martin will drive a BMR entry in the third annual celebrity race, which benefits the Victory Junction Gang Camp and the Tony Stewart Foundation. In addition to Mark, the all-star race will feature such racing icons as Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Bill Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte, and more.
