| May 31, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team was back in action over the weekend at the West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri for the 15th Annual O'Reilly 'Show-Me 100.' On Friday night, May 25, Billy Moyer timed his #21 MasterSbilt machine in twenty-second fastest of the seventy-three entrants and later finished second in his heat race to winner Brady Smith. The strong runner-up effort in the heat gave Billy the rights to the tenth starting spot for Saturday's feature event. The driver known throughout the Dirt Late Model community as "Mr. Smooth" was looking for his fourth 'Show-Me 100' title on Saturday, as the grid rolled off for the $41,000 to win A-Main. Billy inched towards the front of the field during the first half of the mega-event. He then turned up the wick late in the race, taking advantage of several double-file restarts. At the end of 100 green flag racing laps, Billy found himself credited with an impressive second place finish behind winner and fellow Batesville, Arkansas resident Wendell Wallace. "I was very pleased with how our MasterSbilt car ran at West Plains last weekend," quoted Moyer after his $20,000 runner-up payday. "I practiced it and a C.J. Rayburn car on Thursday and the MasterSbilt seemed to work a little better. The car was really coming into it late in the race and those double-file restarts benefited me quite a bit." Billy and his #21 team plan to compete in two and maybe even three events this upcoming weekend. They will definitely be in action on Friday night, June 1 at the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky and on Saturday at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. Those two races are UMP-sanctioned and will pay $6,000 to the winner. Depending on how things pan out, Billy may attend the third 'Tri-Track Challenge' event on Sunday, June 3 at the Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, Illinois. More information on these shows can be found online at www.umpracing.com! "We are going to go to Paducah and Pevely and see what happens," commented Moyer. "I would like to go home before the Dream because we have to get Mark Martin's car ready for the Prelude on Wednesday. But, if we win at either Paducah or Pevely, then we will try to go pick up that $10,000 bonus at Danville on Sunday."
