| May 21, 2009 Billy Moyer Heads to WPMS and Tri-City Following Third Place Effort at Paducah (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team invaded the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky last Friday night, May 15 for another exciting round of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition. Billy Moyer ran second in heat race action and later lined up eighth on the grid for the start of the $10,000 to win main event. In front of the SPEED Channel cameras in the 50-lap feature, Billy was able to work his way by five cars leading to a stellar third place performance behind winner Dale McDowell and runner-up Scott Bloomquist. The #21 team was then scheduled to sling dirt at the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois on Saturday evening, but the $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show succumbed to Mother Nature. Billy currently finds himself second in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings. You can view complete results from PIR online at www.lucasdirt.com. Next up for the BMR team will be a pair of special events this upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend in Missouri and Illinois. On Friday and Saturday, May 22-23, the West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri will play host to the 17th Annual 'O'Reilly Show-Me 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the crown jewel event for the first time and a $40,000 top prize is up for grabs. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at WPMS this weekend to tape all of the dirt-slinging action for broadcast later in the year. On Sunday, May 24, the competition will switch to the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois for another round of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action. A $10,000 winner's check is on the line at the St. Louis area venue on Sunday. You can view additional information on these Memorial Day weekend shows by accessing www.lucasdirt.com.
