| April 26, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team made a surprise visit to the 311 Speedway in Madison, North Carolina on Wednesday night, April 18 for a pair of $5,000 to win events. Billy Moyer was fast during the qualifying session and then ran second to Chris Madden in the first 35-lap, $5,000 to win A-Main. After the top ten spots were inverted for the second feature, the Batesville, Arkansas native put on a show for the Tarheel State fans in attendance. Moyer's #21 and Madden's #44 were the class of the field all night long and the two raced back towards the front in the second 35-lap feature event. Billy wound up getting the upper hand on Chris and picked up the $5,000 top prize for his fifth main event win of the 2007 racing season! You can view complete results online at www.new311speedway.com! Over the weekend, Billy was in action at another North Carolina venue for the second annual 'Circle K Colossal 100.' He was sixty-first fastest during qualifying on Friday night, April 20 at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina and later posted a third place effort in his heat race. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer transferred to the $50,000 to win feature event on Saturday evening by virtue of his fourth place performance in the B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the fifteenth row for the 100-lap feature event, Billy wound up finishing twenty-fifth in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series-sanctioned event. "I broke out our new Rayburn at 311 and it was fast right out of the box," commented Moyer this week via telephone. "It was a good battle with Chris (Madden) in both of those races and we each got the upper hand on the other in one of the races. Then at Charlotte, I raced the same car that we won Brownstown with on March 31. We hadn't raced that car since then, but some things just didn't feel right with both the chassis and the motor. I really don't know what the problem was because it ran great at Brownstown, but we just couldn't get it going at Charlotte." Billy and his #21 team are set to tackle a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series events this coming weekend in Illinois and Indiana. A $10,000 to win show will be held on Friday night, April 27 at the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. A similar event will then be held at the Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Indiana on Saturday evening.
