| April 17, 2009 Billy Moyer Racing Slated for Rare Weekend Off Following Columbus (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team invaded the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi last weekend (April 10-11) for a pair of unsanctioned events. On Friday night, Billy Moyer finished a strong third behind winner Chris Wall and runner-up Dane Dacus in the $3,000 to win 'Rebel Rouser 40.' Billy and his #21 team then turned their focus to the $10,000 to win 'Rebel Challenge' on Saturday evening at the "Baddest Bullring in the South." After running second in his B-Main, Billy was heading towards a potential top five finish when an incident on the racetrack sent him pitside with a sixteenth place performance. They will next be in action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on April 24 at the Bedford (PA) Speedway and on April 25 at the Hagerstown (MD) Speedway. Both races out East next weekend will pay $10,000 to the winner. Billy is sixth in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points heading into Bedford and Hagerstown next weekend.
