| April 16, 2007 (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Following a rain-out at the New Egypt (NJ) Speedway on Friday night, April 13, the Billy Moyer Racing team invaded the pristine Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday evening for the annual 'Rumble on the River.' After timing in seventh fastest for the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model Series show, Billy Moyer was involved in a first lap incident in his heat race. The wreck severely damaged the front end of his #21 machine and forced the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer to take a series provisional to gain access into the $10,000 to win A-Main. The driver known throughout the Dirt Late Model community as "Mr. Smooth" only completed nine laps in the 50-lap feature and was relegated to a twenty-first place performance. The annual 'Rumble on the River' on Saturday at VMS was taped by the SPEED Channel cameras for viewing on May 20 at 2 p.m. EST. You can view complete results online at www.worldofoutlaws.com! Because Billy bent the front end of his C.J. Rayburn chassis, the team quickly returned to the C.J. Rayburn Race Cars shop in Whiteland, Indiana to assess and fix the damage. They will most likely miss the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model Series show at the Lernerville (PA) Speedway on Tuesday evening, April 17. Their next scheduled event is now the $50,000 to win 'Circle K Colossal 100' at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on Friday-Saturday, April 20-21. Qualifications and heat race action will take place at the Charlotte area oval on Friday evening, April 20, while several last chance events and the $50,000 to win, 100-lap 'Circle K Colossal 100' are slated for Saturday.
