| April 2, 2009 Billy Moyer Finishes Twelfth in Colossal 100; Georgia Doubleheader Up Next (BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing team trekked to the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina last weekend for the annual running of the 'Circle K Colossal 100.' The World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned the $50,000 to win event, which was condensed into a one-day program on Sunday, March 29 due to inclement weather. Billy Moyer timed in eighth quickest in WOOLMS qualifying on Sunday afternoon and later ran fourth in his competitive heat race. The Batesville, Arkansas native later started the 100-lap main event from the outside of the twelfth row. Billy did not stay at the back of the pack for long, as he surged into the top ten before settling for a twelfth place effort. The #21 team will now turn their focus to a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events in the Peachtree State of Georgia this upcoming weekend. The popular national touring series will sanction a $7,000 to win show at the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia (April 3) and a $10,000 to win event at the Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia (April 4).
